We are proud this year to be supporting four charities.
The Cystic Fibrosis Trust who work towards providing a brighter future for everyone with cystic fibrosis by funding cutting-edge research, driving up standards of care and supporting people with the condition.
The Down Syndrome Training Support Service (Bradford) is run by and for parents and carers of children who have Down syndrome. They provide support and training for all parents and professionals working and caring for children with Down syndrome.
The Samantha Sykes Foundation provide support to young people in the Yorkshire region, specifically those who are or have been in the care of the local authority and are thus at increased risk of harm, for example, from child sexual exploitation. Their mission is to, work together with other, carefully selected, not-for-profit organisations, to provide targeted support to inspire these young people to achieve their full potential.
Clayton Village Hall belongs to the residents of Clayton and as such does not receive any financial support from Bradford Council. The Village Hall is managed by a guardian of committee members who volunteer their time to ensure that present and future generations of local residents can enjoy use of the facilities making it the thriving centre and focal point of Clayton Village.
